Unitech International (PVT) LTD was originally conceived as Unitech Engineers in 1987 as a partnership firm by three college friends, Mr Tariq Suhail Butt, Mr Muhammad Haseeb Ilahi and Mr Mudabbar Jaffri. The firm was initially a small-scale setup, located in a small office building for the contracting of HVAC systems. In 1999, the firm evolved into Unitech International (PVT) LTD, as presently identified, and now boasts a 6000-square meter manufacturing facility along with an office building, located on Raiwind road, in Lahore. Unitech International (PVT) LTD also holds a UK branch office, solely responsible for international trading activities. Over the years Unitech International (PVT) LTD matured from a company that executed small scale HVAC and air distribution projects to now being the primary supplier and contractor for the multinational industrial giants in Pakistan such as Nestle, Engro, PepsiCo, Coca Cola etc. Furthermore, in 1996 Unitech entered into a know-how agreement with Packo Inox, Belgium for the under licensed manufacturing of farm milk cooling tanks in Pakistan. This significant milestone in the company’s history catapulted Unitech International (PVT) LTD as the most sought-after manufacturer of the milk cooling tanks because of the superior quality of the material used to manufacture the tanks along with the most advanced manufacturing techniques which complied with our European counterpart.
